Grilling has been my passion since I was young. My father was my first grill master and I used to love cooking with him. In 2010 I decided to take my passion for cooking into a life long career; I attended and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Sacramento, California. After graduation a fellow student and I created Two Man BBQ and I began crafting my BBQ style. We entered BBQ competitions, became Kansas City BBQ judges and did small catering events.

In 2012, my wife got a dream job opportunity and so we moved to Texas. Once in Texas I started working for a local BBQ company. There I learned the world of catering and worked as a  Sous Chef and Catering Manager for the next 7 years. In October 2018, my wife and I welcomed our first child, Woodson; thus reigniting my BBQ passion and launching Newman Style BBQ. It is now my pleasure to serve you my BBQ with a twist of California and Texas but uniquely Newman Style.
